Environmental Health and Safety Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. To ensure execution of environmental regulatory activities such as Air Consent, Water Consent, Water Cess, Hazardous Waste Authorization, Hazardous Waste Return, Manifest, Environmental Statement, Battery Return, E-waste, Ambient Air/Stack/ Noise/Effluent Water Analysis & its Report, Submission of Monthly Water Consumption & Chemicals Reports as per MPPCB Norms.

2.To ensure the smooth operation of E.T.P with timely compliance of regulatory requirements according to Environment and Pollution Control Board and its overall upkeep.

3.To ensure the execution of applicable statutory liaising and its compliance from various government authorities such as Pollution Control Board, Industrial health & safety department etc.

4.To advice the concerned departments on safety aspects in all job studies and to carry out the risk assessment (HIRA/JSA) of workplace activity.

5.To carry out safety audit or inspections in order to observe the physical condition of work and the work practices and procedures followed by technicians and to render advice on measures to be adopted for removing unsafe physical condition and unsafe act.

6.Act as Management Representative and coordinate with departmental or sectional heads for effective implementation & continual improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
