Oracle Cloud PaaS/IaaS Technical Consultant

Role & responsibilities

Oracle Cloud Solution Design:

• Design scalable and secure Oracle Cloud PaaS/IaaS architectures.
• Evaluate business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and deployment plans.
• Development and Customization:
• Develop custom applications and integrations using Oracle Cloud PaaS tools such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Visual Builder, and Application Development Framework (ADF).
• Implement APIs and integrations between Oracle SaaS and third-party applications.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management:
• Configure and manage Oracle IaaS services, including Compute, Storage, and Networking.
• Implement automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Monitor and optimize cloud performance and cost.
• Migration and Deployment:
• Lead cloud migration initiatives, including data migration and application re-hosting.
• Deploy Oracle Cloud workloads and ensure high availability and disaster recovery setups.
• Support and Maintenance:
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in PaaS/IaaS environments.
• Provide ongoing support for Oracle Cloud solutions, including patches and upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations
• Compliance and Security:
• Implement cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Manage access control and identity management using Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS).

Preferred Certifications

• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certified Architect Associate/Professional.
• Oracle Cloud Platform Application Development 2021 Specialist.
• Any related certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
