Job Description
IOCARE REHABILITATION CENTRE is looking for Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities of clients
- Diagnose speech and language disorders, such as articulation disorders, fluency disorders, voice disorders, and language delays
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results, setting specific goals and objectives for each client
- Provide therapy sessions to clients, implementing evidence-based techniques and interventions to improve communication skills
- Teach clients techniques to improve articulation, voice quality, speech fluency, and language comprehension and expression
- Help clients develop alternative communication methods, such as augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems
- Provide guidance and training to family members and caregivers on supporting and practicing speech and language skills at home
- Monitor and track client progress through regular evaluations and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, psychologists, and educators, to ensure coordinated care
- Work with children in educational settings, collaborating with teachers and supporting Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
