Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Investment Advisory Sales Manager to lead our sales team in providing tailored investment solutions to high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and retail investors. The role involves generating sales, managing relationships, and ensuring the highest level of service to clients while adhering to the companys goals and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge of financial markets, strong sales skills, and a client-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth for the investment advisory business.
- Identify and target potential clients including high-net-worth individuals, corporate clients, and institutions.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the client base through various sales channels.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and promotional activities .
Build, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients. - Understand client needs, goals, and risk profiles to offer tailored investment advisory solutions.
- Provide regular portfolio reviews and financial advice to clients, ensuring their investment needs are met.
- Address client concerns, provide timely solutions, and enhance overall client satisfaction.
Product Knowledge & Advisory:
- Stay updated with market trends, investment products, and economic developments.
- Advise clients on a wide range of investment products including equities, mutual funds, fixed income, structured products, and alternative investments.
- Provide investment recommendations based on market analysis, client goals, and risk appetite Sales Performance & Targets:
- Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Track performance metrics and report on sales results, ensuring targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor market conditions and competitor activity to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (CFA, CFP, NISM) will be considered an advantage.
- Experience:
- 5-7 years of experience in sales or relationship management in investment advisory, wealth management, or financial services.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
- Experience managing a team and driving business growth.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of financial markets, investment products, and advisory services.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a client-centric approach.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
