Roles and Responsibilities :
- Build strong relationships between business partners and the IT department by understanding and translating business needs into requirements that the development team can implement.
- Develop requirement documentation that aligns with the needs and priorities of the business.
- Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and traceability matrices. Ensure that proposed system features meet user needs and business objectives.
- Participate in IT design reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems.
- Develop knowledge of system capabilities and use this to recommend optimal solutions to business requirements.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of test plans that are mapped to documented requirements.
- Perform IAT (Integration Acceptance Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing), ensuring that the systems function as intended and meet business requirements.
- Manage large-scale projects and handle day-to-day operational requests from the business.
- Identify improvement opportunities, ensuring the continuous enhancement of business and system operations.
- Evaluate the performance of project teams to ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
- Create training and system documentation, and conduct training sessions as necessary.
- Provide advice and consultation to junior Business Analysts on complex assignments and best practices.
- Maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including external vendors, IT teams, and business leaders.
- Present ideas and findings clearly in meetings and provide advice on emerging trends.
- Identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks within the business.
- Participate in initiatives for AT&C loss reduction, meter reading & billing analytics, metering solutions, energy auditing, and revenue generation.
- Create monthly performance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Supervise the design of new products and assess how these will perform in the market.
- Continuously look for ways to increase customer satisfaction by identifying innovative solutions.
- Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring deadlines are met.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, particularly in the electrical domain, with experience in metering, billing, and meter data analysis projects.
- Proven experience in AT&C loss reduction, meter reading & billing analytics, metering solutions, energy auditing, and revenue generation.
- Proficiency in Business Analytics tools and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Access is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of smart meters, HES, and MDM systems.

- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present ideas and findings clearly in meetings.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing large-scale projects while also handling daily operational requests.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Comfortable with travel and relocation as required by project needs.
