Inventia Technology - Full Stack Developer - Wordpress Platform (3-5 yrs)

As a WordPress Full Stack Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of custom WordPress themes and plugins, as well as the integration of advanced JavaScript features.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions for our clients while adhering to best practices and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on design specifications and client requirements.

- Optimize and maintain existing WordPress websites, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience.

- Implement advanced JavaScript features, including front-end frameworks like React or Svelte, to create interactive and dynamic web experiences.

- Advance knowledge in backend technology such as NodeJs, Prisma, GraphQL, SQL databases and NoSQL (MongoDB).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and other developers, to ensure project requirements are met and delivered on time.

- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and continuously working to improve code quality.

- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.

- Mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth within the team.

- Create/customize WP REST API and headless CMS implementations.

- Create industry standard code documentation while developing.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

- 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.

- Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL.

- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.

- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e. , SASS or LESS) and build tools (e., Webpack or Gulp).

- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

- Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques and web accessibility standards.
