Responsibilities
Solution Design: Analyze business requirements and design integration solutions using SAP PO. This involves understanding the existing systems landscape, identifying integration touchpoints, and defining integration patterns and architectures.
Development: Configure integration scenarios within SAP PO using tools like Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) for service development, Integration Directory (ID) for configuration, and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) for process modeling. Develop mappings, transformations, and adapter configurations as per requirements.
Interface Development: Build interfaces to enable communication between different systems and applications, including SAP and non-SAP systems. This involves developing mappings, message routing rules, and custom adapter modules as needed.
Testing: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of integration scenarios to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements. Collaborate with functional teams and business users to validate the solution.
Deployment: Plan and execute the deployment of integration scenarios from development to production environments. Ensure proper version management and transport of objects between different SAP PO landscapes.
Monitoring and Support: Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively monitor message flows, system health, and performance of integration scenarios. Provide support for incident resolution, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
Documentation: Maintaining comprehensive documentation of integration solutions, including design specifications, configuration guides, test cases, and operational procedures. Ensuring documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
