Junior/Mid-Level Business Development Manager (BDM)

Role & responsibilities

What Youll Be Doing

🔹 Lead Generation & Bidding:

• Identify and bid on relevant IT projects on Upwork, Freelancer, and other freelancing platforms.
• Ensure quick bidding (within 5 minutes) to increase response rates.
• Write professional and engaging proposals to attract clients.

🔹 Client Communication & Negotiation:

• Initiate conversations and build rapport with potential clients.
• Negotiate project terms, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Track client responses and follow up as needed.

🔹 Freelancer Coordination & Hiring:

• Identify and onboard skilled freelancers for projects.
• Negotiate rates with freelancers and onboard them via Flock (team communication tool).
• Ensure freelancers complete test assignments before final hiring.

🔹 Project & Client Management:

• Act as a bridge between clients and developers to ensure smooth communication.
• Assist in defining project scope and aligning the right tech resources.
• Maintain long-term relationships with clients to generate repeat business.

Preferred candidate profile

✅ 1-3 years of experience in Business Development or Sales, preferably in IT services.

✅ Familiarity with Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, and other platforms (preferred).

✅ Strong communication & negotiation skills ability to convince both clients and freelancers.

✅ Proactive & fast decision-making skills speed matters in project bidding.

✅ Basic understanding of IT services and software development (bonus but not mandatory).

✅ Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.

✅ Self-motivated, with a problem-solving mindset.
