Intuceo - Senior Oracle APEX Developer - PL-SQL (4-12 yrs)

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain custom applications utilizing Oracle Application Express (APEX) to meet business needs.

- Oversee the complete software development lifecycle, encompassing planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment of APEX applications.

- Enhance APEX applications for optimal performance, scalability, and security to ensure robust user experiences.

- Create and manage various database objects, including tables, views, triggers, indexes, and stored procedures, within the Oracle Database environment.

- Build intuitive user interfaces using APEX components, such as forms, reports, charts, and dashboards, to facilitate user interaction.

- Integrate APEX applications with third-party systems and APIs, including RESTful web services, to expand functionality.

- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to APEX applications, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime.

- Collaborate closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

- Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain high standards and best practices throughout the development process.

- Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, detailing system designs, workflows, and procedures for future reference.

- Engage in Agile development practices, participating in sprints, daily stand-ups, and iterative delivery to adapt to changing requirements.

Technical Skills :

- 6+ years of experience in Oracle APEX application development.

- Excellent understanding of Oracle Database, including creating PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, and exception handling.

- Strong skills in SQL and PL/SQL for developing complex code units.

- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, Ajax, and jQuery for creating dynamic user interfaces.

- Knowledge of JSON and RESTful web services, with experience in integrating applications with third-party systems.

- Responsible for performance tuning activities to optimize application efficiency.

- Strong teamwork and communication skills for extensive interaction with the user community during requirements analysis and post-implementation support.

- Ability to embrace changes and adapt to new technologies in a fast-paced development environment
