Data Scientist - Python/Machine Learning (3-6 yrs)

We are seeking a talented and driven Data Scientist with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in extracting actionable insights from complex datasets, developing and deploying machine learning models, and driving data-informed decisions across the organization. You will work on a variety of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve challenging business problems.

Responsibilities :

- Data Analysis and Exploration : Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources.

- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.

- Develop and maintain data pipelines for efficient data processing.

- Machine Learning Model Development : Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning models for predictive analytics, classification, regression, and clustering.

- Implement and optimize algorithms using Python and relevant libraries (e. g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

- Deploy and monitor machine learning models in production environments.

- Statistical Analysis : Apply statistical techniques to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions.

- Perform hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and time series analysis.

- Communicate statistical findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

- Data Visualization and Reporting : Create compelling data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or Power BI.

- Prepare and present reports summarizing data analysis findings and model performance.

- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.

- Collaboration and Communication : Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver solutions.

- Present technical findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.

- Staying Current : Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI.

- Explore and evaluate new tools and techniques.

Qualifications :

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Experience : 3-5 years of experience as a Data Scientist.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, etc. ).

- Strong SQL skills for database querying.

- Experience with machine learning algorithms and techniques.

- Knowledge of statistical concepts and methods.

- Experience with data visualization tools.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

- Experience with deep learning frameworks is a strong plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in a specific industry (Banking or Healthcare or Manufacturing).
