Job Title: Program Advisor

Reports to: Head of Admissions, Scaler School of Technology

Position Overview:
The Admissions team at Scaler School of Technology will drive the admissions process, engage with prospective students and their parents. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of a timeless institute that aims to produce top-notch engineers who can create world-class products.
Key Responsibilities:
Between February and August:
Conduct Program Information Webinars:
- Host webinars to educate parents and answer their queries about Scaler School of Technology.
Engage with Prospective Students and Guardians:
- Conduct online group sessions with admitted candidates and their guardians to provide insights into our programs and address their concerns.
- Connect to prospective students who have registered for the entrance test through one-on-one calls and drive test attendance.
- Build rapport and handle objections through one-on-one calls with admitted candidates.
Campus Visits:
- Organize campus visits for groups of parents and students to showcase our institute and facilities.
Admission Support:
- Collaborate with the Customer Service team to resolve admission-related inquiries promptly.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure post-admission processes (e.g., sending brochures) are executed efficiently.
Fee Collection:
- Work closely with the Finance team to drive fee collections from admitted students.
Process Improvement:
- Execute projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the admissions process.
- Between September and January:
Regional Partnerships:
- Take ownership of one region in India and establish strategic partnerships with schools and counsellors to promote Scaler School of Technology.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with partners.
Scouting Calls:
- Identify and connect with academically gifted students through scouting calls.
Engagement Events:
- Collaborate closely with the Events team to facilitate events that enhance our brand visibility and credibility.
What do we expect?
- Willingness to do repetitive tasks such as telephonic conversations with parents of prospective students.
- Willingness to work from Wednesday to Sunday.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong bias for action and ownership.
- Passion for education and technology.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- Experience in an admission counseling role at a college or an edtech.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting to track performance.
