Job Description

Your Focus
As an Application Specialist, you will provide technical service to support the Home and Personal Care sales teams in the South Asia, Middle East and Africa regions. You will be part of a global network where our colleagues work across RD, Application and Commercial functions for our Health Bioscience business.
The role is based in Hyderabad, India and will report to Senior Application Scientist.
How you will contribute
- Perform the design, execution, and interpretation of experiments.
- Generate quality data and ideas for investigation and communicating these to the project team and customers.
- Prepare and present technical reports, summaries, and protocols.
- Support application development projects for enzymes in textile processing and detergents.
- Work closely with other Home and Personal Care (HPC) Application RD Labs.
- Conduct process safety management (PSM) of new equipment, maintaining SDS Safety of Lab.
- Prepare creative demos develop unique selling points for IFF enzymes.
Job Requirements
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelor`s or Master s degree in Chemical Engineering, Oil Technology, Biotechnology or any other relevant discipline.
- Minimum 3-6 years of work experience in detergent, surfactant or chemical industry, preferably in an RD or Technical Support role.
- Ability to independently manage and contribute to multiple projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Proactive and self-starting personality.
- Team player who enjoys working in an international environment.
