Senior Accountant

Pay Rate: $40. $40. Location: South Hills of PA. South Hills of PA. Job Type: Contract. Contract IFG Pittsburgh is actively recruiting an Senior Accountant responsible for daily operations accounting, including preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries, performing month-end balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system and performing month end close functions and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements


Responsibilities Of The Senior Accountant. Perform high level analysis of income and expense as compared to budget
Prepare and/or enter journal entries
Prepares and/or reviews monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Accounts Receivable oversight of processors, completing journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliation
Manage and lead accounts receivable staff ensuring accurate invoicing and cash application
Assist Regional Controller with the annual budget process
Perform regular analysis to ensure accuracy of financial records
Requirements Of The Senior Accountant. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent degree and/or experience. 3+ years of experience. Prior supervisory experience required. Knowledge of ERP systems. Expertise with account reconciliation and month end closings. Exposure to financial reporting. Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR). Excellent problem-solving skills. Reliable technology and analytical abilities.
