A Business Analyst plays a crucial role in analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that drive business success. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify goals, create documentation, and support the development of data-driven insights and analyze current processes to determine what can be improved to achieve their desired outcome. In addition to managing our master data set and assisting with data-related problem solving, the individual should possess a thorough understanding of the most widely used data analysis tools.
Data & Document Automation (DDA) is an automation solution that automates key business processes for lenders, investors, and servicers. Data and Document Services (DDS) provides critical value-added services to Lenders, Investors and Servicers.
Responsibilities
Effectively gather and manage the requirements from multiple stakeholders, perform analysis and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Interpret, evaluate, and analyze facts and information required for providing logical solutions.
Well versed with Agile Methodology and Adoptable to changing business needs.
Perform data analysis to create reports, identify trends, patterns and correlations based on the data.
Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand the requirements and provide data driven solutions. Work with cross functional teams to spec applications around data ingestion, validation & normalization.
Develop and maintain documents and reports to share requirements and metrics. Maintain and update documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular data quality checks and validations.
Review test results and reports to ensure requirements are met as per the expectation.
Good understanding of PII data and protect data to which they have access.
Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor s Degree and equivalent industry experience in Information System /Business Analytics or Data Analysis.
Strong verbal and written communication. Should be able to collaborate with multiple teams in different geographies at different levels in the organization.
Experience managing accuracy and integrity of data in all analysis, reports and deliverables.
Proven experience with identifying issues and developing solutions that enhance data and document analysis processes and outcomes.
Experience working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Expertise in data analysis tools and techniques, including Python, XML, Json and MS office.
Sound knowledge of US Mortgage industry, mortgage documents and processes will be added advantage.
3+ years of work experience as a business analyst or Data Analyst.
