Role & responsibilities

Job description

• Preparation and presentation of accurate Weekly, Monthly and Annual financial including PNL and cash flow
• Oversee budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, investment activities, and debt financing.
• Liaison with tax and other govt departments
• Liaise with Company Secretary to ensure compliance with The Companies Act, 1956
• Ensure compliance with the Company Auditors recommendations on accounting practices
• Lead and mentor finance teams to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
• Supervise the Accounts team and supervise data entry into the Tally Accounting System including random cross checks of data entry by other users, checking of Bills, cross checking against Purchase Orders, and verification of Journal Vouchers and Payment Vouchers, maintenance of Tally Legers and preparation of monthly stock statement and inventory valuation
• Preparation and reporting of age-wise Debtors and Creditors list
• Identify opportunities for financial growth, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
