Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Solar Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing photovoltaic (PV) systems, preparing technical documentation, and ensuring that designs comply with industry standards and local regulations. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
†Design and develop solar PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
†Perform site assessments using tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope.
†Create detailed engineering drawings, system layouts, and single-line diagrams.
• Calculate system sizing, energy production estimates, and financial analysis.
• Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM), specifications, and reports.
• Support installation teams during the construction phase by providing technical guidance.
• Conduct quality checks and performance analysis post-installation.

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Proven experience in solar PV system design (on-grid and off-grid).
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope, and SketchUp.
• Strong understanding of electrical concepts, load calculations, and solar energy principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
