Opportunity to work directly with the US Clients.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D models of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems, using Building Information Modelling (BIM) software.
• Generate Shop Drawings, technical drawings, schematics, and spool from 3D models to communicate design specifications.
• Must have modeling experience on site utility or Underground Electrical Services.
• Collaborate with electrical engineers to develop and refine system designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, local codes, and project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical system designs with other building systems, such as architectural, structural, and mechanical, to ensure clash detection and resolve design conflicts.
• Work closely with electrical engineers, architects, and other project team members to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into the overall building design.
• Review and validate the accuracy of 3D models and documentation to maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Incorporate design changes and revisions as needed throughout the project lifecycle.
• Experience: BIM Technician or in a similar role with a focus on electrical systems is advantageous.
• BIM Proficiency: Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD MEP, DiaLUX, Navisworks with experience in creating and managing 3D models.
• Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical system design principles, components, and materials.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve design conflicts.

Qualifications:

A degree in a relevant field such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology, or Building Design Technology is preferred.
