EDA Tool Software Engineer

Job Description
Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing. Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and endtoend testing of the software tools.

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications- Must already have or be in pursuit of a Bachelors (B.Tech) or Masters (M.Tech) in Electrical Engineering or similar field- Less than 2 years post graduation- Experience with scripting (Perl, tcl etc.)

Preferred Qualifications- Experience with scripting (Perl, tcl etc.) to develop a memory compiler and support or enhance the tool as required- Experience in memory design convergence tools including: formal equivalence verification, static timing methodology, electrical reliability and robustness analysis- Experience with transistor level operation, memory bitcell design, design challenges under process variations and low power circuit techniques
