Power BI Developer - SQL (4-7 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a talented Power BI Developer with proven expertise in developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working on at least one government project and a strong ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and deploy intuitive and visually compelling dashboards and reports using Power BI.

- Create efficient and optimized data models that support complex analytical needs.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Connect Power BI to various data sources and ensure seamless data integration.

- Optimize reports and dashboards for performance, including large datasets and complex calculations.

- Government Project Collaboration : Leverage experience from previous government projects to understand and address compliance, security, and reporting standards.

- Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, transformations, and logic used in dashboards.

- Provide training to end-users on how to utilize dashboards effectively and troubleshoot technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4 to 7 years of experience as a Power BI Developer, including at least one government project.

- Strong understanding of Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) for creating calculations and measures.

- Experience with SQL for querying and managing data.

- Ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to address data and performance challenges.

- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and reporting standards for government projects.

- Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or QlikView.

- Familiarity with Azure Data Services or other cloud platforms.

- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.

- Certifications in Power BI or related data analytics technologies.
