Operator Lamination

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Lamination Operator with strong expertise in solvent-based and solventless lamination processes to join our team at National Industries Park. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the Combi 3000 machine (Nordmeccanica) and a solid background in flexible packaging. This is an urgent opening, and the selected candidate should be ready to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the Combi 3000 machine (Nordmeccanica) to perform lamination processes for flexible packaging.
• Ensure high-quality output of lamination and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
• Manage and safely handle materials for lamination processes.
• Solventless and base lamination experience is highly advantageous and will be considered a key benefit.
• Troubleshoot any issues with machinery or the lamination process to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure cleanliness to maintain optimal equipment performance.
• Work closely with the production team to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet daily targets.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Lamination Operator in the flexible packaging industry.
• Hands-on experience with the Combi 3000 machine (Nordmeccanica).
• In-depth knowledge of solvent-based and less lamination processes.
• Experience with solventless and base lamination will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in packaging operations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
