Group Leader - Analytical Development, R&D

Role & responsibilities

• Understand and plan to implement long term strategies of organizational goals
• Active and responsible participation with time bound planning and implementation in infrastructure development building of state of art R&D-ADL set up.
• Responsible for evaluation of resources, tools and instruments necessary for wide R&D analytical developmental work.
• Evaluate and outsource partners/ service provider for analytical activities.
• Initiatives for DSIR-approval to attain necessary tax benefits on R&D-ADL investments.
• Lead and motivate the teams for new challenges, set clear measurable and achievable goals for them. Guide the team to deliver all the targets in a time-bound and cost-effective manner.
• Evaluate various parameters aligned with organizational objectives and conclude on R&D-ADL annual financial budgets based on forecast of financial needs along with monthly tracking throughout the year.
• Develop analytical methodologies of new products basket for future pipeline to maintain sustainability in the business in the near future.
• Drive innovation in analytical methodologies, guiding the team in developing and validating cutting-edge techniques that support the company product pipeline
• Help to resolve the existing products quality issues
• Responsible for final technology package document and analytical method demonstration to Quality department during technology transfer with transparency and preciseness in time bound manner. (inhouse or outsource).
• Prepare analytical related documents and strategies to face all related audits necessary for enhancing the market reputation of organization.
• Establish coordination with technical experts, internal and external customers to understand their needs and execute. Initiate activities for Regulatory compliances of the products.
• Prepare regular reports/presentations as per management requirements (Technical as well as non-technical).
• Ensure staff health and regulations as per the required standards

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Competencies Required:

• Experience in analytical development of various intermediate molecules having wide applications in pigments, pharma and Argo industry.
• Experience to lead a team of a minimum of 10 members.
• In-depth knowledge of method development, validation, impurity profiling, stability study, safety analysis and technology transfer.
• Excellent knowledge analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, IR, IC, GCMS, LCMS, Autotitrator, KF, UV-Visible spectrometer etc.
• Exposure for analytical technology transfer during scale-up.
• Coordination with the internal and external stakeholders (customers, vendors and service providers)
