ISS STOXX is looking for a Platform Engineering Lead to join our Mumbai (Goregaon East), India team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide management support to the Mumbai GCP Platform Engineering and SRE Teams
• Contribute to the development and operation of Stoxx's GCP platform infrastructure
• Work with Principals to prioritise and manage the teams' daily workload, aligning with engineering requirements and roadmap timelines
• Build and support a robust CI/CD pipeline and observability stack
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement the platform roadmap
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pipeline performance and customer satisfaction
• Keep abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud management and operation
• Report on SLO performance of Stoxx Index Applications

Requirements:

• 7+ years' experience in platform engineering, with a focus on cloud solutions and implementations
• 2+ years' experience in managing technical teams
• Experience with the development and deployment of large-scale, complex technology platforms
• (Advanced) knowledge of cloud products across database, serverless, containerization and API
• Experience with Terraform
• Experienced in managing DevOps, SRE or Platform Engineering teams
• Experience coaching and mentoring high-performing teams
• Pragmatic experience using agile to deliver incremental value
• Experience working in a global or multinational team setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proven ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Focus on simplicity, automation and observability
• Experience in Python, GitHub Actions, Apigee, Airflow
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
