Insight Business Machines - Server Administrator - Windows/Linux Server (2-6 yrs)

Job Description :

- 2+ years- experience in system administration.

- Candidate should have good hands-on experience in handling server hardware.

- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.

- Should have good knowledge of VMware virtualization like ESXi Server and VCenter.

- Should have advance knowledge of Windows Server Operating System.

- Should have tape backup knowledge.

- Should have basic hands-on experience and knowledge of Linux Operating System, including CLI.

- Should have working experience and knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, IIS, Antivirus.

- MCSA / RHCE / RHCA or equivalent is desired.

- Quick learning and analytical skills would be required.

Responsibilities :

- Install and configure software and hardware.

- Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements

- Troubleshoot issues and outages

- Ensure security through access controls and backups

- Upgrade systems with new releases and models

- Build an internal technical documentation, manuals and IT policies

- Following daily checklist.

- Monitoring and Managing VMware, Windows and Linux infrastructure.

- Monitoring Backup tasks.

- Running Restore drills for backup.

- Maintaining inventory.

- Preparing incident and change management reports.

- Reporting daily activities to respective manager.
