### *Job Summary*:
The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for analyzing project requirements and preparing accurate cost estimates for electrical panel manufacturing and installation. The role involves working closely with sales, engineering, and procurement teams to develop competitive and detailed pricing for electrical control panels, switchboards, and related systems.

### *Key Responsibilities*:
1. *Project Estimation & Costing*:
- Review and analyze technical drawings, specifications, and project documents to understand the scope of electrical panel projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, and other associated expenses.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to gather accurate pricing for components like circuit breakers, relays, transformers, control devices, etc.
- Ensure estimates are in line with industry standards and company pricing strategies.
2. *Tender & Proposal Preparation*:
- Assist in preparing technical and commercial proposals for tenders and bidding processes.
- Work closely with the sales team to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend alternative solutions that meet the client's needs and budget.
3. *Coordination with Engineering & Procurement*:
- Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to confirm technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
- Work with the procurement department to validate supplier quotes and secure the best possible prices.
4. *Risk Analysis & Mitigation*:
- Analyze potential risks in project execution and identify contingencies in the estimation process.
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure accuracy and minimize cost overruns.
5. *Client Interactions*:
- Participate in meetings with clients to clarify project requirements and present estimation reports.
- Address client inquiries regarding cost breakdowns and estimation methodology.
6. *Documentation & Reporting*:
- Maintain records of all estimates, quotes, and revisions.
- Provide regular reports on estimation activities and cost analysis to senior management.
7. *Continuous Improvement*:
- Review and analyze past project costs to improve accuracy in future estimates.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, standards, and technology advancements in electrical panels and related equipment.

### *Qualifications*:
- *Education*:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- *Experience*:
- 3-5 years of experience in estimation, costing, or design of electrical panels, switchgear, or related equipment.
- Prior experience in the electrical contracting or manufacturing industry is a plus.
- *Technical Skills*:
- Strong understanding of electrical panel design, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, electrical schematic software, and estimation tools.
- Knowledge of relevant electrical standards (e.g., IEC, NEC).
- *Soft Skills*:
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
