Data Scientist

The Data Scientist will play a critical role in leveraging data-driven approaches to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. This role involves designing and implementing advanced machine learning models, analyzing complex datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. The Data Scientist will also focus on deploying scalable AI solutions and delivering meaningful visualizations for stakeholders across the organization.

Role & responsibilities

1. Data Analytics and Insights:

• Conduct analytics to identify patterns and generate actionable insights to support strategic decisions.
• Translate quantitative analyses into comprehensive visuals and reports for non-technical audiences.

2. Model Development and Validation:

• Build, validate, measure, and retrain machine learning models, including supervised and unsupervised algorithms.
• Apply expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI to solve complex business challenges.

3. Deployment and Collaboration:

• Collaborate with AI Engineers to deploy machine learning models and set up inference processes.
• Ensure models are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with organizational goals.

4. Cloud and Programming Expertise:

• Utilize programming languages like Python and SQL to process and analyze large datasets.
• Work with AWS cloud platforms for data storage, computation, and model deployment.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, Statistics, or a related field such as Machine Learning.
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in managing all phases of a data science lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of supervised and unsupervised algorithms, NLP, and Generative AI capabilities.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms.
