Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:
   
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Process invoices, receipts, and payments accurately and promptly.
• Record daily transactions in the accounting software (preferably Tally Prime).
• Assist with bank reconciliations and ensure cash flow is properly managed.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
2. Invoicing & Payments:
   
• Prepare and verify invoices for goods or services provided, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
• Monitor payments from customers and ensure timely collections.
• Liaise with the sales and procurement teams for clarifications on invoicing and payments.
• Prepare and process payments to suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely settlement.
3. Taxation & Compliance Support:
   
• Assist in the preparation of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and support the filing process.
• Assist with TDS calculations, filing, and related documentation.
• Ensure that tax-related documents are up to date and available for review.
• Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and assist in implementing necessary adjustments.
4. Financial Reporting:
   
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the Accounts Manager or Senior Accounts Executive in generating balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Ensure accuracy in financial data and assist with any discrepancies identified during audits.
5. Internal Controls & Documentation:
   
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Assist in maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
• Organize and file financial records and tax documents in a systematic and accessible manner.
6. Vendor & Customer Communication:
   
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment queries, and credit notes.
• Coordinate with customers on outstanding payments and provide necessary support for payment reconciliation.
7. Support in Audits:
   
• Assist in both internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documents and data.
• Support audit teams by ensuring accurate data and timely submission of information.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
  
• Bachelors degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Accounting.
• Certification in accounting (e.g., Tally, GST) is a plus.
• Experience:
  
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Experience with Tally Prime or any other accounting software.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other taxation processes.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficiency in Tally Prime or similar accounting software.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Key Skills:
  
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills to interact with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to identify discrepancies.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
