Senior Accounts Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping:
   
• Maintain accurate financial records, ensuring all transactions are recorded in the accounting software (Tally Prime).
• Manage and update the companys general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Process and verify invoices, ensure payments are accurately made, and maintain accurate records of expenses.
• Handle daily accounting operations, including posting of journal entries, petty cash management, and reconciliations.
2. Taxation & Compliance:
   
• Ensure timely filing and compliance of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).
• Oversee the preparation and filing of TDS returns, ensuring adherence to statutory deadlines and tax regulations.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns and reports.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the companys compliance with relevant local and national tax rules.
• Liaise with tax authorities as required and ensure timely resolutions of any tax-related issues.
3. Invoice Processing:
   
• Oversee the preparation, verification, and timely dispatch of invoices to customers and clients.
• Ensure invoices are correctly generated, reflecting accurate details of sales and services, along with applicable taxes.
• Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with the collections team to follow up on overdue invoices.
4. Financial Reporting:
   
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, identifying discrepancies, irregularities, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.
5. Internal Controls & Documentation:
   
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions, tax records, and invoices.
• Assist in strengthening internal financial controls, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure that all accounting activities comply with company standards and statutory requirements.
6. Team Collaboration:
   
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager and senior leadership to develop financial strategies and budgets.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and provide mentorship and training as needed.
• Assist other departments (e.g., procurement, sales) with finance-related queries.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualifications:
  
• CA (Inter) or M.Com or any equivalent degree in Finance/Accounting.
• Experience:
  
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in the manufacturing or medical device industry.
• Proven experience with Tally Prime accounting software.
• Strong working knowledge of GST compliance and filing.
• Experience with TDS filing and compliance.
• Technical Skills:
  
• Proficient in using Tally Prime for day-to-day accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of invoicing, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other financial software tools.
• Key Skills:
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and errors.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
