Life Sciences Development:
- The role of the Industry Solutions Lead requires a passionate and compelling subject matter expert, thought leader, and innovation specialist - with exceptional people and leadership skills to match. This executive will serve as an influential leader and strategic business partner while supporting the development and launching of new solution offerings from the ground up. The incumbent will also serve as an inspirational leader infusing the organization with new thinking, adaptability, and improved ways of operating, while providing a sustainable and competitive advantage for Innova. Finally, this role will play a critical part in the development of our Manufacturing practice with ready for market solutions, thought leadership, knowledge capital, know-how and show-how.
- This assignment will have the acknowledged authority and responsibility to identify, develop and execute a high-impact innovation strategy and GTM roadmap aligned to market trends, strategic business goals, and high growth initiatives with the following priorities:
- Actively engage with other technology, consulting, and delivery leaders, inside and outside Innova, to understand and define trends, market intelligence, external innovation partners, and business teams, while creating a viable business model and commercialization strategy for emerging and mature solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong cross-functional ties with Leadership, Product Development, Business Development, Delivery/Consulting and Marketing. Educate and train sales, consulting and delivery teams on new solutions and innovations.
- Act as the Industry Evangelist and Innovation Champion for the Americas, and as required pan globally. Promote company-wide participation in the creation of industry standard best practices. Educate and provide necessary support for current, and new, innovation models within Innova, with our customers, prospects, and partners.
- Ensure timely and successful commercialization of identified innovation and solution development initiatives.
- Track and report on innovation metrics and business impact as agreed with leadership.
- Establish Innova as a recognized innovation leader among customer and industry groups to enhance our reputation for such, including practical applications.
- Identify internal and external assets, partners and ISVs that may accelerate innovation development and market access.
- Working across the region, synchronize and grow Innova consulting, solution, delivery, and maintenance offerings.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- 20+ years of relevant experience in the Life Sciences sectors including for innovation, technology, and solutions development, with a career spanning Product Development, Sales/Marketing, Life Sciences, and/or Consulting environments, and with 15+ years in varied leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success in defining a "culture of innovation" with an intense drive for attaining dramatic and accelerated growth through new ideas in people, process, and technology.
- Exceptional people, organization, and presentation skills at all levels, up to the C-suite.
- Strong analytical and unique problem-solving skills.
