L3 Openshift Engineer - Red Hat/Kubernetes (6-9 yrs)

Job Description :

- Skills should have worked on Pod troubleshooting, OpenShift node troubleshooting, deployment, replica set, OpenShift upgrade.

- Experience in PaaS Platform preferably Red Hat OpenShift deployment and Administration.

- Clear understanding of container concepts.

- Experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes orchestration.

- Deployment / management experience in setting up OpenShift Container Platform i.e Configure master and node for one or more clusters.

- Experience in configuring control access to open shift container resources.

- Provision persistent storage and use it for the internal registry.

- Knowledge of application onboarding to OpenShift.

- Knowledge of Red Hat Linux systems and Atomic host.

- Basic knowledge on Ansible.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, deploy, and manage OpenShift Container Platform clusters.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenShift nodes, pods, and other components.

- Configure and manage user access to OpenShift resources.

- Provision and manage persistent storage for applications.

- Onboard applications to the OpenShift platform.

- Automate deployment and management tasks using Ansible or other tools.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest OpenShift features and best practices.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth application deployments.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 6+ years of experience in PaaS platforms, preferably Red Hat OpenShift.

- Strong understanding of containerization concepts and Docker.

- Proficiency in Kubernetes orchestration.

- Experience in configuring and managing OpenShift clusters.

- Knowledge of Red Hat Linux and Atomic host.

- Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar automation tools.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Certification in Red Hat OpenShift.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
