Scientific Manager - Clinical Trial Prediction

Role & responsibilities

• To analyze the clinical trial features on the strength of the trial drug/technology, its MoA - comparative study on existing drugs, MoA in the indication, safety & efficacy, any gap in terms of unmet need, ongoing trials in the indication, etc for predicting clinical feasibility, probability of success or trial protocol optimization
• M. Tech/MSc. or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics/ Pharmacy , with at least 4 years of industrial or research experience, capable of executing projects independently
• Should have demonstrated experience working in a clinical trial team either in operations or data analysis
• Experience performing clinical trial data analytics
• Any clinical trial certification
• Researching scientific data pertaining to a topic and finding answers to specific questions based on product
• Understanding, exploring MoA from different perspectives (Pharmacology, toxicology)
• Hypothesizing different scenarios on binding affinity, adverse events; comparing them to existing standard of care
• Keeping pace with new developments, publications, conferences, activities etc. relevant to a scientific field of requirement
• Summarizing research findings and making self-explanatory Excel sheets/ PowerPoint presentations
• Regular discussions with other team members towards discussing the progress of current work, finding ways to furnish missing information and working together to meet the company as well as client deadlines in time.
• Team management is must and able to handle a team size of 5 members minimum
