Finance Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager/Senior Financial Manager to oversee the financial operations of our IT business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost accounting, financial reporting, cross-border transactions, liquidity management, and budgeting. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive cost savings, optimize financial performance, liquidity management (across group includes overseas companies) and management reporting

Responsibilities

• Cost Accounting: Oversee the entire cost accounting function, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and cost control measures.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports (management and IFRS) to provide insights into the company's financial health and performance.
• Cross-Border Operations: Manage financial aspects of cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and tax laws.
• Liquidity Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity positions to optimize financial resources.
• Budgeting: Develop and implement annual budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide financial forecasts.
• Cost Optimization: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency, driving overall profitability.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Travel: Willingness to travel abroad as required for business needs.

Qualifications and Experience

• MBA in Finance, CA or CPA.
• 7-10 years of overall experience.
• Knowledge and experience in IFRS is a must.
• Proven experience in cost accounting, financial reporting, cross-border transactions, liquidity management, and budgeting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the IT industry.
