Quality Assurance and Automation Engineer

Position Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, with a focus on testing applications developed in .NET Framework, .NET Core, React, Express, JavaScript, and React Native. The candidate will be responsible for writing test cases, executing test plans, identifying and documenting defects, and collaborating closely with the development team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications developed in .NET Framework, .NET Core, React, Express, JavaScript, and React Native.
• Conduct thorough regression testing to identify and resolve software defects and ensure that all issues are properly addressed before release.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand business requirements and technical specifications.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Perform manual and automated testing as necessary, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the continuous enhancement of testing methodologies and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide regular updates on testing progress, issues, and resolutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in quality assurance testing, with a strong focus on testing applications developed in .NET Framework, .NET Core, React, Express, JavaScript, and React Native.
• Proficiency in both manual and automated testing methodologies, including experience with industry-standard testing tools such as Selenium, NUnit, XUnit.net etc.
• Demonstrated ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test documentation.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and SQL queries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Must know as Selenium, NUnit, XUnit.net, MS Test, Moq, SpecFlow for .Net Farmwork & .Net Core
• Must know Jest, React Testing Library, Enzyme, Cypress, Detox, React Native Testing Library for React/React Native
• Must Know Selenium for Writing UI Test cases
• Knowledge on using Postman, SOAP/UI for UI Testing
• ISTQB or other relevant certifications in software testing
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Visual Studio Load Test, React Profiler, React Native Performance Monitor, Expo Perf Monitor etc
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
