Job Description :

We are looking for a seasoned ServiceNow SAM and HAM Pro Implementor with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in IT Asset Management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of implementing and managing ServiceNow SAM and HAM modules, driving compliance, optimizing asset utilization, and enhancing operational efficiency across complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Implementation : Lead the technical implementation and configuration of ServiceNow SAM and HAM Pro modules, including workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and data imports.

- Integration : Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow SAM/HAM and other enterprise systems (e., SCCM, Intune, ILMT, JAMF, AD, CMDB, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Servers, and other integration tools.

- Customization : Develop custom applications and modules within ServiceNow to extend SAM and HAM functionalities, including custom tables, fields, and scripts.

- Data Management : Perform data migration, normalization, and reconciliation to ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records.

- Utilize ServiceNow Discovery and other discovery tools to populate the CMDB.

- Compliance and Optimization : Implement automated processes for software license compliance, usage tracking, and optimization.

- Configure software models, entitlements, and reclamation rules.

- Reporting and Analytics : Create and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and performance analytics to provide insights into asset utilization, compliance, and lifecycle management.

- Technical Documentation : Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.

- Publisher Licensing : Understanding of Tier 1 and Tier 2 licensing models, compliance requirements, and optimization strategies.

- Optimization : Optimize existing implementations by integrating SAM and HAM workflows with ITSM processes for enhanced efficiency and visibility.

- Strategic Process Re-engineering : Identify and address pain points in AS-IS asset (software and hardware) maintenance processes, delivering re-engineered business solutions.

- Data Analysis & Reporting : Analyze software license compliance positions and document requirements using advanced analytical approaches to provide actionable insights.

- Audit Preparedness : Prepare and support software audit processes, ensuring compliance while mitigating risks across various customer accounts.

- Tool Evaluation : Explore, evaluate, and recommend tools for SAM/HAM, aligning them with client goals and industry best practices.

- Dashboard Development : Design and maintain dashboards and reports, providing stakeholders with actionable insights into SAM performance and compliance.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with Other SAM Tools : Proficiency in other Software Asset Management tools such as Flexera, Snow, or similar platforms is highly advantageous.

- Familiarity with ITIL & ISO Processes and Practices : Knowledge of ITIL and ISO standards and best practices for IT service management and asset management.

- Certification in ITIL or ISO is a plus.

- Prior Experience in ITAM Consulting or Project Delivery : Previous experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) consulting or delivering ITAM projects, showcasing the ability to manage complex projects, engage with stakeholders, and deliver successful outcomes.
