Job Summary:
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant Manager with expertise in e-commerce accounting, seller account management, and website financial handling.
The ideal candidate should have experience in managing payments, reconciliations, and financial operations across various e-commerce platforms and the company website.
We have an opening for an Accounts Assistant Manager in Gurgaon specializing in E-commerce Accounting.
📝 Key Requirements:
1-3 years experience.
Expertise in Amazon, Flipkart & website transactions.
Proficiency in Tally/Zoho Books, GST, and TDS compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. E-commerce & Seller Account Management:
Manage financial transactions for Amazon, Flipkart, and other e-commerce platforms.
Reconcile seller accounts track payouts, deductions, refunds, and chargebacks.
Analyze marketplace fee structures, commissions, and settlement reports.
Ensure timely processing of invoices, payments, and GST reconciliation for online sales.
Handle website transactions, tracking payments from payment gateways (Razorpay, PayU, etc.).
Monitor cash flow from e-commerce platforms and identify discrepancies.
2. Website & Direct Sales Accounting:
Track and manage payments received from direct website orders.
Ensure correct application of tax rates (GST, TCS, TDS) and discounts.
Work with the marketing and operations teams to analyze sales trends and revenue insights.
3. Inventory & Stock Reconciliation:
Monitor stock levels across warehouses and e-commerce platforms.
Reconcile inventory reports with actual stock movement to identify losses or discrepancies.
Ensure accurate recording of product returns, exchanges, and damaged goods.
4. Expense & Commission Management:
Track advertising spends, promotional discounts, and influencer/affiliate commissions.
Ensure cost-effectiveness in ad spends vs. revenue generated on platforms like Amazon & Flipkart.
Maintain accurate records of logistics, shipping costs, and operational expenses.
5. Taxation & Compliance:
Ensure GST filings, TDS deductions, and compliance with tax regulations.
Work closely with CA & finance teams to handle audits and e-commerce taxation.
Generate monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review.
6. Reporting & Analysis:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales & revenue reports.
Maintain dashboards for profit margins, return rates, and customer payment trends.
Provide insights on sales performance, conversion rates, and financial risks.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in e-commerce accounting (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, WooCommerce, etc.).
Strong knowledge of Tally, Zoho Books, or any accounting software.
Expertise in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial reporting).
Understanding of GST, TDS, and e-commerce taxation.
Good communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
