Python Automation Engineer

Job Description

• Understanding project documents, business demands, and product objectives to create and execute test cases.
• Working with deployments teams, resolving level issues for systems, coordinating on product design, and offering inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation frameworks on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Conducts end to end Integration Testing including testing of interfaces & APIs.
• Working with Cloud Ops team to setup test pipelines in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
• Document the procedures, standards, tech-stack, test architecture, framework and best practices.
• Conducts code reviews, mentors and coaches the larger team, provides objective feedback to development and SDET partners to ensure proper execution of projects

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software testing experience within Software Development project team
• Minimum 3 years of strong Test Automation experience with Selenium / web driver IO / REST Assured/Postman or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with Cucumber /Behaviour Driven Development/TDD/TestNG/Pytest
• Automated Test Script Development skills
• Experience in languages like Python
• Strong Experience with different types of Testing (Manual, Front end, Web testing, UI, Regression, Functional, SIT, UAT)
• Experience working with CI\CD pipeline and defect management tools. 
• Excellent Communications Skills
