You will build the next generation of betting products whilst working with cutting edge technologies in an Agile, international environment. This role is based in Pune, India.

WHAT YOULL DO

• Work as part of a team that is young, dynamic, enthusiastic, full of ideas, fun and friendly

• Apply state of the art software design to ensure high availability, scalability, maintainability and performance of high-traffic web applications.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements, scope, and objectives.

• Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and adherence to best practices.

• Provide technical expertise during project planning, risk assessment, and issue resolution.

• Own tech solutions, roadmap, and decisions.

• Challenge the tech status quo and provide solutions to proposes improvements, automation, tech modernization

• Ensure the team delivers high-quality, reliable, and secure software solutions.

• Work with PO and Principal engineers on broader initiatives, helps with the decomposition of the high-level requirements, defining MVP etc.

• Make sure all stakeholders and teams are properly informed about tech changes, redesigns, new integration patterns etc.

• Proposes and/or does necessary PoCs

• Makes sure non-functional requirements (e.g.: performance, security, scalability, operability) are taken into account during design, development, QA and deployment,

• Make sure the automation and testing aspect of the development process is properly represented at all phases,

• Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Angular, JS, and web development technologies, and recommend their adoption when appropriate.

WHO YOU ARE

• At least 10 years of previous experience

• Leadership experience with mentoring, providing technical guidance, and driving successful project delivery

• Ability to take ownership of complete delivery lifecycle

• Advocate for and enforce software development best practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

• Extensive experience with Angular, including building complex web applications and working with Angular frameworks and libraries

• Proficient in TypeScript, ES6, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3/SCSS

• Proficient in Server side rendering, RxJs, Nx and monorepo, bundling tools like webpack, good hands-on knowledge of module federation

• Strong knowledge of web technologies and good understanding of security principles

• Proficiency with clean coding principles to write scalable, reliable, testable and reusable code • Experience with TDD, test pyramid, test infrastructure

• Conducts code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards

• Managing incidents and request escalation and investigation

• Contributes to governance of how performance fits into development processes
