Job Description
As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing technical assistance to our call center staff.
Roles & Responsibilities: - Provide technical support for all data center hardware and software systems, including assistance to call center staff and agents.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals.
- Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement system upgrades and improvements.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of call center equipment, including IP phones and headsets.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity problems and ensure reliable internet access for agents.
- Train call center staff on basic IT procedures and best practices.
- Document and maintain records of IT support requests and solutions.
- Assist in the procurement of IT hardware and software as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest IT trends and technologies relevant to the call center environment.
- Qualification: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong knowledge of: Computer hardware, Operating systems, Software applications, Networking and Linux, Server technologies, and virtualization
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
