Senior Software Engineer - Front End

Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer candidate with experience and knowledge of User Interface development using React, TypeScript and JavaScript to join our innovative Master Data Management SaaS team in Bangalore.

You will report to the director, Engineering.

Your Role Responsibilities? Heres What Youll Do

• Develop new code that are enterprise-use case-ready. You will develop user interfaces for different Informatica products.
• Write high-quality code using your in-depth knowledge of React, object-oriented concepts, JavaScript, TypeScript
• Collaborate with peer engineers, Ux engineers, and architects spanning their respective areas to deliver end-to-end components and features.
• Handling customer escalations that are routed to R&D from Global customer support (would require you to re-prioritize your tasks)
• Gather and interpret broad requirement specifications from customers/Product Management that are not yet defined.
• Produce techno-functional specs and designs based on high-level requirements.
• Estimate efforts, identify risks, and meet project schedules.
• Be a performer and team player who enjoys challenging assignments in a fast-growing distributed workplace
• Work in an Agile software development team delivering product and feature increments in short iterations
• Work with cross-geographical R&D engineering
• Use in determining the cause of problems, and demonstrate responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems).

Role Essentials

• 4+years of Enterprise Software Development experience
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• Development experience using Typescript, JavaScript, React & CSS
• Knowledge of latest front-end paradigms
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms & design patterns
• Hands on experience in integrating UI components with backend APIs and services.
• Knowledge on state management libraries Redux

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and their managed services -
• 1+ years of experience working with Microservices
• Knowledge of NodeJs, Jest or Vite and Puppeteer
