This Software Engineer works during IST hours and works with customer issues with OP/ST/MT environments.
This position is important to cover Infor OS issues reported by different team s ICS/support/intern dev/QAC.
Also to cover the weekend standbys for the customer prod upgrades and go lives during weekend.
Position Summary:
Software Engineer:
Install, deployment and configuration of Infor software on Amazon VMs.
Create load balancers.
Install Infor applications on CentOS VMs, Windows, and AWS VMs.
Troubleshoot integration issues with Infor products.
Work with customers, internal Consultants, and Support teams to resolve customer issues. Troubleshoot application issues.
Work with customers and internal development teams for the adoption of Infor OS products.
Conduct web conference meetings to help the adoption of products.
Work proactively to reduce the turnaround time.
Work as a Cloud Services administrator.
Essential Duties :
Resolve clients questions or problems over the telephone or internet in the areas of system configurations/setups, product functionality, and bugs/enhancements
Serves as a support liaison between company and customer and documents incidents in required tracking systems.
Proactively keeps the customer informed of how and when problems are resolved, focusing on retention and reference ability.
Other responsibilities include, among others, testing, training, and defining and following support procedures and supporting implementations.
Ability to use this understanding to troubleshoot performance issues with Infor customers
Responsible for appropriate referral to other support, product management, development, and quality assurance areas.
Assists in testing new versions of operating systems and environments by loading new versions and verifying compatibility with Infor products, reporting any anomalies to development.
Responsible for appropriate referral to other support, product management, development, and quality assurance areas.
Focuses on developing knowledge in specific product suites or operating environments.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field software development life cycle.
Amazon VM creations; ELBs; S3 and SQS; database skills in native SQL;
Debugging skills to troubleshoot issues using Wireshark;
Browser developer tools;
AWS Cloudwatch; Sumologic; and Linux.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field software development lifecycle.
SQL, AWS knowledge, debugging skills to troubleshoot issues;
Browser developer tools, Soap UI, fiddler and Post man.
