Cloud Engineer (Databricks)

Role & responsibilities

• Utilize the Databricks Lakehouse platform to design and implement data solutions.
• Work extensively with YAML configurations for defining Databricks resources.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Databricks Asset Bundles.
• Perform bundle validation, deployment, and execution using the Databricks CLI.
• Write and manage Bash scripts for automation and task execution.
• Collaborate with teams using Git and Bitbucket for version control and repository management.
• Ensure high-quality delivery by implementing best practices for CI/CD processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Completion of the Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals course.
• Strong experience with YAML configurations and managing bundle YAML files.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and tools.
• Proficiency in using the Databricks CLI for various operations.
• In-depth understanding of Databricks Asset Bundles and their role in CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Bash scripting for automation tasks.
• Proficiency in Git and Bitbucket for version control and collaboration.
• Experience in large-scale data engineering projects.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
