Data Lake Support Engineer

Position: Data Lake Support Engineer - L2 (4+ Years) You’ll manage and support AWS data lake environments, focusing on resolving critical issues and ensuring reliable performance. (Rotational Shifts, Work from Office)
Location: Udyog Vihar Phase IV, Sector 18, Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities

• Issue Resolution: Quickly handle production issues to reduce downtime and meet SLAs.
• Solution Design: Create solutions for complex data processing tasks to boost performance and scalability.
• Diagnostics: Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot data lake issues.
• System Maintenance: Set up maintenance practices like audits and updates.
• Collaboration: Work with client teams to meet business goals.
• Mentoring: Guide junior team members on technical challenges.
• Reporting: Share updates on system health and performance for all audiences.
• Compliance: Ensure data practices meet security and regulatory standards.

Must-Have Skills

• AWS Services: Experience with DMS, DynamoDB, Athena, Step Functions, RDS, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, and S3.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in SQL, Python, and ETL processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong skills in managing critical issues.
• Leadership: Team management experience with good communication skills.
