Job Description
- Support the implementation, development, and support activities for the SAP TM module on SAP S/4HANA.
- Elicit, define, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
- Ensure alignment with ongoing S/4HANA project design and rollout plans.
- Map business requirements to SAP TM solutions, configure systems, and prepare functional specifications.
- Lead the implementation of new functionalities and improve existing ones.
- Conduct Unit, Integration, Regression Testing, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing with end users.
- Provide oversight, guidance, and feedback on vendor execution and delivery.
- Ensure service delivery meets requisite quality, schedule, and budget.
- Drive vendor teams to achieve process SLAs, productivity, and quality targets.
- Coordinate with the S/4HANA project team for knowledge transfer on new functionalities and country rollouts.
- Identify scope under How To Request Fulfilment and Standard Change and prepare suitable documentation.
- Design and conduct training programs for key users on new or changed processes and functionalities.
- Prepare training documentation and e-learning tools.
- Execute ITGC & ITAC controls as Control Owner & Control Performer.
- Ensure executional excellence and stay updated with industry best practices.
- Participate in process assessments to measure effectiveness and address gaps in business process mapping or functionalities.
- Suggest innovations across new and traditional channels using expert knowledge.
Expected experience, skill sets and abilities
- Bachelor s degree in Applied Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
- Excellent language skills in English.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of hands-on experience in SAP TM.
- 6+ years of experience in SAP MM/SD modules.
- Practical implementation experience with Transportation Management (TM).
- Experience in end-to-end implementation, rollout, and/or support projects.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP TM processes and configuration.
- Interface exposure with SAP ERP and SAP EWM.
- Ability to drive and participate in business discussions and provide solutions.
- Independent handling of rollouts or support engagements.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to balance theory and practical reality in solution design.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities in complex multi-vendor environments.
- Excellent English communication along with presentation, moderation, and business-partnering skills.
- The ability to work within a highly distributed team environment, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
- A performance-driven mindset, with strong work ethics and integrity.
Ideally, you ll also have:
- SAP certification/s.
- Experience working in a multinational organization and/or a big consultancy.
- Working experience with European clients.
- Willingness to work partly or fully during European office hours (CET).
- Willingness to learn about new technologies when the need arises.
