About Airbnb Capability Center - Airbnb Capability Center has been set up to help drive operational excellence where we set benchmarks for the network and also act as eyes and ears for the company to help drive product and process improvements.
The Difference You Will Make:
The Manager, ACC Analytics will be responsible for leading a team of Business Analysts who support functions across Global Operations and Business Org. The ACC Analytics team is accountable in making sure we continue to define the right metrics and then work with respective functions to drive those metrics. It is a critical team to help enable the purpose of having a Global Capability Center. The team also collaborates on key issues across each of the business units and acts as a co-owners in driving outcomes and impact.
A Typical Day:
Design and reporting on Metrics:
- Develops measurement strategies and reporting of key business metrics for multiple audiences including senior leadership.
- Collaborate with leaders and managers to determine and address data and reporting needs for various initiatives.
Driving Outcomes:
- Determine the meaning of data and explain how various teams and leaders can leverage it to improve and streamline their processes.
- Ensure that our work delivers against the functional goals.
- Continuously seeks ideas to help team be the best in the network and also add value to improve customer experience / product /processes.
- Collaborate with functional team across Operations, Product, Engineering, BPI etc to help drive business priorities.
People management:
- Build and lead a team of highly qualified experts (Business Analysts) who thrive in problem solving and critical thinking leveraging best in class analytics solutions.
- Be the custodian of culture and help keep the team engaged and motivated.
Your Expertise:
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity.
- BTech/MBA with a minimum of 15+ years of experience. With at-least 5+ yrs of people leadership experience.
- Experience working on practice building, corporate strategy, and solution development as a part of Business Solutions and Analytics group.
- Start up / Tech / Analytics / E-Commerce company exposure will be preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities & mathematical mindset.
- Expert with Microsoft Excel and various business intelligence and analytical tools.
- Automation of BI processes, Data mining & exploratory analysis, Stakeholder & Project Management.
- Understanding of data gathering, inspecting, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques.
- Communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience.
- Keen attention to detail.
