Backend operations - Procurement

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing goods, services, and materials in line with company requirements.
• Research and identify reliable suppliers and vendors for required goods and services.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate order placement.
• Track and monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time receipt of goods.
• Assist in negotiating prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Maintain up-to-date records of procurement transactions and supplier information.
• Conduct market research to find new potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in managing procurement budgets and ensure adherence to budgetary limits.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities and provide support in analyzing purchasing trends.
• Communicate and coordinate with internal teams to understand product or service requirements.
• Resolve issues with suppliers and vendors, ensuring smooth transactions and satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any relevant field.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.

Preferred (but not required):

• Internship or academic projects related to procurement or supply chain management.
