Job Title: Mobile QA Tester (Appium)
Location: Bangalore, India

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mobile QA Tester with strong expertise in Appium and a solid understanding of test automation for mobile applications. As part of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of mobile applications through rigorous testing and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium for mobile apps (Android and iOS).
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure the implementation of automated test scripts during the development process.
• Work with SpecFlow or similar tools to create Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tests.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests for mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects in the testing process.
• Perform regression, functional, UI, and performance testing for mobile apps.
• Perform compatibility testing on different mobile devices, screen resolutions, and OS versions.
• Create detailed test reports and communicate testing results and progress to stakeholders.
• Participate in sprint planning and provide feedback on test coverage and quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in mobile testing (Android/iOS) using Appium.
• Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks, with hands-on experience in Appium, SpecFlow, and BDD methodology.
• Good understanding of programming (C#, Java, or any other programming language suitable for Appium).
• Experience in manual testing of mobile applications, including functional, regression, and UI testing.
• Familiarity with mobile testing on both Android and iOS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Version Control Systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools for automation testing.
• Knowledge of mobile testing tools like XCUITest, Espresso, or similar is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum-based environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior experience in Appium with C# is highly preferred.
• Experience in testing mobile applications with a BDD approach using tools like SpecFlow.
• Knowledge of testing tools for mobile performance testing and monitoring (e.g., Calabash, UIAutomator).
