KPIT India is hiring Java cloud engineers!

Roles and Responsibilities :

* You will be developing and modernizing challenging automotive software in Java / Spring Boot following software best practices in an Agile environment

* You will be creating design or challenging existing designs enabling software quality and scalability

* Applications will be deployed in multi cloud, and the software design will need to handle that

* You will be writing/reviewing unit tests, integration tests and end to end tests based on behavioral driven development (Cucumber)

* You will be reviewing code (based on the code semantic and not only based on code style guide).

* You will be documenting your design and how to use effectively your APIs

* You will be involved in various parts of the automation including the build system and the CI/CD pipeline to provide high quality software

* You might be managing periodic reporting on the progress to the Scrum Master, PO and the customer

What we need:

* Very good to excellent understanding and hands on experience of OOP (this will be assessed)

* Very good to excellent and hands on understanding regarding SW best practices principle (this will be assessed)

* Strong knowledge of Java Spring boot and preferably as well Python and/or Typescript ready to dive into other modern technologies depending on the project

* You have experience with developing / modernizing existing software

* You have experience and/or interest in working with devops and understand very well SW challenges in the cloud

* Experience in L3 support creating hot fixes keeping quality in focus

* Experience with Domain Driven Design is a plus

* AWS Cloud certification is a big plus
