AVP/VP Product Development - B2C

We are seeking a product professional with 7-12 years of experience in the B2C product management space. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing end-to-end platform experience, with a strong focus on Android and iOS mobile applications. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record in managing communication channels such as notifications and emails. The role will potentially lead a team of Product Managers (PMs) and Associate Product Managers (APMs), drive product strategy, and identify areas for improvement through innovative thinking, data analysis, and user research.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Platform Development: Lead the end-to-end development of our platforms, ensuring seamless integration and user experience across all digital touchpoints.

2. Mobile Applications: Oversee the management and enhancement of our Android and iOS mobile applications, ensuring they meet the highest standards of usability and performance.

3. Communication Channels: Manage and optimize communication channels including notifications, emails, and other user engagement tools to enhance user interaction and satisfaction.

4. Team Leadership: Mentor and lead a team of PMs and APMs, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

5. Innovation: Drive innovative thinking to identify and implement new features and improvements that enhance the user experience and meet business objectives.

6. Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data analysis and user research to identify user problems, track product performance, and make informed decisions.

7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and sales to ensure alignment and successful product delivery.

8. Market Research: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats, and adjust product strategies accordingly.

9. Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with company goals and user needs.

Qualifications:

Experience: 7-12 years of experience in B2C product management, with a strong focus on platform experience and mobile applications.

- Technical Skills: Proficient in managing Android and iOS mobile applications, with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of platform development.

- Communication Management: Experience in managing communication channels such as notifications, emails, and other user engagement tools.

- Leadership: Proven experience in leading and mentoring product management teams.

- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, conduct user research, and derive actionable insights to drive product improvements.

- Innovation: Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative solutions to user problems.

- Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Product Design, or a related field and MBA from Tier 1 B-School preferred.
