Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement MIS & BI strategies that support the revenue cycle management department's goals and objectives. • Design, develop, and maintain MIS & BI systems that improve the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data used in the revenue cycle process. • Manage the integration of disparate data sources into a unified data repository and ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide timely and actionable insights to the revenue cycle management team and other stakeholders. • Analyze data and develop insights that support business decision-making and drive operational efficiencies. • Present Dashboard/ Analytic data to internal and external stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy. • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party providers, and ensure that contracted services are delivered according to specifications • Train revenue cycle management staff and MIS team on the use of MIS & BI tools and applications • Develop and maintain documentation related to MIS & BI systems, processes, and procedures.

Preferred candidate profile

Minimum of 5 years of experience in MIS & BI management, in the healthcare industry • Proficiency in database design, data management, data warehousing, and data analysis • Experience with BI tools and excellent excel skills. • Understanding of revenue cycle management processes, including billing, coding, and reimbursement • Experience with data security and privacy regulations, such as HIPAA • Excellent project management, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams. • The MIS & BI Manager for Revenue Cycle Management plays a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue cycle process by providing timely and accurate insights to the revenue cycle management team and other stakeholders.
