Teamcenter Migration Architect

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Teamcenter migration strategies and solutions.
• Assess current systems and environments for migration feasibility, including data mapping, transformation, and process optimization.
• Develop migration plans, including timelines, risk management strategies, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Business Analysts, Developers, and System Administrators to ensure successful data migration and integration.
• Ensure the integrity of data during the migration process, addressing any challenges related to data consistency, compatibility, and security.
• Analyze Teamcenter configurations and customize solutions to ensure smooth migration to new environments or versions.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise on Teamcenter migration tools and technologies.
• Perform testing and validation of migrated data to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Document migration processes, strategies, and best practices.
• Train and mentor team members on migration tools, techniques, and methodologies.

Must have skills:

• Must Have 7-8 years of experience in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) implementations, with a strong focus on Teamcenter.
• Strong experience with Teamcenter migration tools and techniques (e.g., Teamcenter ITK, Migration Toolkit, and other integration platforms).
• Proven ability to design and execute large-scale Teamcenter migrations, including data mapping, transformation, and loading processes.
• In-depth knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data structures, and workflows.
• Experience with Teamcenter upgrades, integrations, and customization.
• Familiarity with other PLM systems (e.g., Windchill, SAP, PTC) is a plus.
• Experience with SQL, database migration, and data modeling is desirable.
