Infinite Locus - Java Developer - System Design (3-6 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.

- Implement robust backend systems with Java 8+ and modern development practices.

System Design :

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient backend solutions.

- Design and optimize database schemas and queries.

Performance & Optimization :

- Ensure high performance, scalability, and availability of backend services.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.

Integration :

- Integrate third-party APIs, libraries, and tools as needed.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to create seamless user experiences.

Testing & Debugging :

- Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure the reliability of code.

- Debug and troubleshoot production issues promptly.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with DevOps to deploy, monitor, and manage applications in production.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Documentation :

- Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, workflows, and key implementations.

Key Skills & Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

- Proficiency in Java 4+ with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful API design.

Databases :

- Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.

- Familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis is a plus.

Messaging Systems :

- Experience with message brokers such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

Cloud & DevOps :

- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

- Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Version Control :

- Proficiency in using Git and version control workflows.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with GraphQL or other API query languages.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.

- Exposure to monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

- Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
